Yevgeniy Milyavskiy has won numerous awards and competitions, including the Spotlight Awards at the Los Angeles Music Center, the Los Angeles International Franz Liszt Competition, and the Jose Iturbi International Piano Competition. Yevgeniy has been fellow to numerous music festivals, including the Chamber Symposium in Lausanne, Switzerland, the International Chopin Piano Symposium Los Angeles, the Aspen Summer Music Festival, and the Tanglewood Music Center Festival.




Born in Mozyr, Belarus, Yevgeniy began studying piano with his parents at the age of 3. At Age 6 he began formal studies with Vladimir Kuzmenko, and debuted with the Belarus Chamber Orchestra at age 8 in Minsk. In 1994, Yevgeniy began studies in Los Angeles with Grant Horrocks, and continued in1998 with Daniel Pollack receiving a B.M. and M.M. in Piano Performance from USC Thornton School of Music, and a D.M.A in Piano Performance from UCLA, where he studied with Walter Ponce and Gloria Cheng.
